MOBILE, Ala. -- A sewer overflowed on North Florida Street near Spring Hill Avenue today during heavy rain in the area, the Mobile Area Water & Sewer System reported.
Spokeswoman Barbara Shaw said about 2,850 gallons of wastewater overflowed into nearby Three Mile Creek before a MAWSS crew got the spill under control.
