Folsom:Electronic bingo is legal in Alabama. However, as recent events have shown, we need a legislative definition unreviewable that bingo is and isn't that bingo. ?After that, I think that the people of this State should have the right to vote on whether or not they so wish in their communities.

? Ivey:Judgments of the Supreme Court of Alabama were clear what is and is not set.If the legislature is called a constitutional vote, I support totally let people have a top-down vote on the issue at stake. But the public must have a cleanup of the Bill to vote on – not a written by lobbyists play and casino owners.

Deadlock was the biggest obstacle in the Senate last four sessions. How is that you should break it? ?

?Folsom:Overall, senators believe me, know that I am reasonable and willing to work in the set of rows in the result of legislative races parti.Indépendamment this year, we are going to very narrow margin between the majority and the minority caucus. However, there are moments where the lieutenant Governor must act decisively in the best interest of the population.

?Ivey:Despite claims of bipartisan cooperation, proof of how the Senate was executed is clear - a lack of competent leadership and a minimum of accountability. However, small steps for practical organization will help lead to the ultimate goal, I have for the Government: transparency. With transparency, the public and members of both sides of the aisle has a Senate of integrity.

What will be the key issues facing the legislature, the House and the Senate in the next four years?

Folsom:Whereas job creation is the most important problem facing the State, I am proud to be regarded as a lieutenant-Governor prépare.Le next Governor must be able to work closely with a lieutenant-Governor, which includes the creation of jobs and recruitment industriel.La direction of our State must work together across lines party to grow employment in Alabama.

Ivey:After several years of budgets are Band-aided by stimulus money, the State will have to take difficiles.Budgets Government decisions must be based on expenditure priorities, step on the election promises and without regard to the influence of interest spécial.Le process must be modernized refcet recipes - long-term trends estimates short model budgeting terme.Notre step has created an environment to distribute perennial.
