Public wake of Micheal "Eyedea" Larsen, Memorial show announced

That continuous music community protest against the devastating loss of Michael Larsen, a.k.a. Eyedea, a series of commemorative events are planned in his honour. Today, Rhymesayers announced that a public wake will take place next Thursday 28 October at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul, 1st Avenue will host a celebration of his life on what was his 29th birthday, November 9.

Furthermore, weekend two radio stations are planning tribute performances: at 9 a.m. tomorrow night, CSR KFAI (listen to Minneapolis, 106 7FM in St. Paul) radio will devote two hours to play music and interviews with guests on Eyedea block, and 11 a.m., Kevin Beacham will present a special tribute on redefining current (89 3FM) radio hour.

With ads, Rhymesayers has published a series of quotes from some of the friends of Eyedea and musical collaborators, its capacity for long-time bandmate DJ slug, Brother Ali and much more.(You can read our collection of memories of friends and fans here).
